Do you know who you are in Christ?

My husband was away years ago, and I was at home with the kids. I woke up to a loud noise in the middle of the night. It was sure someone was in my house. I laid in bed and thoughts went racing.
Are they burglar‘s? Did they want my TV? My computer? My wedding ring?
As I sorted out all the possibilities of what somebody intruding my house might want, I deemed the most valuable possessions were my children. What if they got them?
I suddenly remembered who I was in Christ. Then started praying. Heard the Lord whisper to me “they can never take what’s hidden in your heart”. All the years that I’ve hidden God’s word and memorized it all for this moment, I realized I didn’t need a book I just needed to believe what was in my heart.
What my heart knows is to call on the name of Jesus…. Real Quick like!!!
This world can be disastrous at times. Life can leave scars and mark you with what to belive. I decided at this moment I would believe what was in my heart in the situation. Not Fear!
I said all that to say it was my husband coming home in the middle of the night. He drove for hours and didn’t wanna wake me. My heart was at peace and just a moment.
Thank goodness, just a practice run.
I will never forget the whisper from heaven that changed my heart.
I choose to believe what was hidden in my heart and it true. This has changed the trajectory of my life. My future outcomes now turn out much differently. What is hidden and developing where no one can see is power one way or the other.
Will I feed my fear? Will I feed my faith?
One thing I believe in is the power of prayer, affirmations, and keeping vision in the forefront. I have done dream boards for over the past 20 years. It is fun to keep vision in front of me and watch words and pictures unfold before my eyes. I’ve had this one piece of paper taped to the inside of my bathroom cupboard for over 10 years. It is this affirmation declaring who I am in Christ. I chose this place because I go there often and every time I open the cabinet door I say one of the things out loud to myself.
It’s really important to know that you’re excepted that you’re secure and that you are significant. This world and the many voices in it will tell you otherwise. What do you put in will eventually come out. I encourage you define declarations and affirmations to speak up your life on a daily basis. They will have a great impact not only on your life but in the lives of others you lead.
Who I am in Christ

Accepted I am
I am a child of God. I am a disciple, I am a friend of Jesus. I have been declared righteous. I am one with the Lord, and I am one with him in the spirit. I have been bought with a price and I belong to God. I have been chosen by God and adopted as his child. I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins. I am complete in Christ. I have direct access to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ.
So I am secure
I am free from condemnation. I am assured that God works for my good in all circumstances. I am free from any condemnation brought against me and I cannot be separated from the love of God. I have been established, anointed and sealed by God. I am hidden with Christ in God. I am confident that God will complete the good work he has started and me. I am a citizen of heaven. I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. I am born of God and the evil one cannot touch me.
Significant for sure
I am a branch of Jesus Christ, the true vine, and the channel of his life. I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit. I am God‘s temple. I am a minister of reconciliation for God. I am see you to put Jesus Christ and the heavenly realm. I am God‘s workmanship. I may approach God with freedom and confidence. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
As I perceive this life, all of us deserve need to be loved for who we are. Not for who others expect to be. Each of us need to figure out how to be who God created us to be.
As a person with gifts, talents and desires that enable us to first know, be, and then do. Then live our life with a sense of security, passion and joy.
Many of us are so still busy doing what others want us to do that we never find out who you are. The result is we are dying inside, and we burn out. Because we’re only performing. Instead of expressing our hearts, desires in our actions.
To the to the degree we let others dictate our lives be we become frazzled, discourage, depressed, to compensate for our insecurtieds.
Everyone wears masks.
We wear a mask of competency to impress people.
A mask of intimidation to hide our anger and master of defensiveness to keep people from hurting us again.
A mask with a painted on smile so people won’t notice the pain when trying to hide.
Find our identity
Finding our identities means taking off these masks. This process will pose to threaten our ego and to expose us as a fraud. But knowing our identity is a promise to live a rich, honest sense of self. That can result out in far more meaningful relationships based on truth, not fiction. Our search for our identity however isn’t a license for irresponsible choices.

This is who I am.
Unveiling the truth is a process. It can be scary and very hard. No one can do it for you. How many of us can relate to that and yet the real challenge is coming to a place where we stayed, this is who I am and being able to show up and the truth of Who We Are. By our relationship with God . I wonder how much more rewarding how much more intimate our relationship with ourselves and with God and others would be if we came to a place where we said
“Listen this is who I am. This is why maybe I am:
I’m struggling……
I’m afraid…..
I’m upset….
I’m angry……
And allowing ourselves to live there so that we can ultimately have the wholehearted transformation that lasts.

Before my first session, I have to admit that I was skeptical…
…I was coming from a place where I had TRIED EVERYTHING to heal past hurts, without success. A ‘normal day’ for me used to mean toggling between self-hatred and “appearing to be perfect” for everyone around me… I was caught in the Crazy Cycle. Tracy not only made me feel safe and loved unconditionally, she guided me through remembering the emotions of one of the most painful moments of my childhood.
Not only were my emotions healed, I now actually REMEMBER IT DIFFERENTLY. She helped me see that Jesus was there with me the whole time. I could literally see him there. It changed everything! We’ve been working on other hurts since then, making huge progress every week.

Hey there! I wanted to tell you thank you again. I was just telling my husband that I’ve had counseling before on and off throughout the years for things that have been kind of hard in life and the session today was amazing.
